			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify;">Begin on march 2008 I have been working at Automation Engineering Division of <a href="http://www.sier.co.id" target="_blank">PT. SIER</a> (Sinar Inti Electrindo Raya) as Automation Project Engineer. Honestly this work scope area very different with my interest job, which is on energy analysis of renewable energy technology. But its okay and not make me back off. I will continue my interest job/research on new energy by combine the knowledge in Instumentation, Control System, Energy Process and Energy Convertion. I think my learning on PT. SIER could add knowledge so I could reach my dream to make detail design of Hydrogen Production Instalation.<span id="more-77"></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">As a Automation Project Engineer I have responsbility to make automation system control, like :</p>
<ol style="text-align: justify;">
<li> Draw <strong>single line diagram, control room layout, instrumentation plant destination </strong>using Autocad Electric 2008</li>
<li>Make <strong>control configuration, flowchart </strong>and <strong>function description </strong>for automation control system using Microsoft Visio and Office</li>
<li>Develop the <strong>human machine interface (HMI) </strong>using Wonderware Intouch and Archestra, RSView, etc</li>
<li>Develop <strong>PLC ladder and networking programming</strong> using Siemens STEP-7 and RSLogic 500, etc</li>
</ol>
<p style="text-align: justify;">When I studied on Gadjah Mada University and conduct my field study at PT. Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk, I learn more about how system control working. Just imagine you could make some computer to control and monitor all process production on PT. Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk. With this control system, we could improve the quality and efficiency of process production.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Currently, I am joining the team of Coal Handling Project for PT. Berau Coal. We will make automation control and monitoring for coal crushing and barge loading using PLC Allen Bradley (AB) and HMI Wonderware Archestra.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">I have target to reach my dream to become an <strong>Automation Intergrator</strong>, which have capability to built up a wide and complex automation system that cover all process include the efficient control design, fast respons action, safety consideration, integrated acquisition data collection, redudancy control.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p align="justify">On may 27, 2008 I am with social group community &#8211; J<strong>SN (Join Society for Nature)</strong> going to Untung Jawa Island which is one of Seribu Islands in Indonesia. Untung Jawa island is very attractive island that have a long beach with white sand and many mangrove tree. The mangrove tree very inportant to take care water ecosystem and water quality on that island. But, nowday it is not so beautiful because there are much plastic waste on arround of Untung Jawa beach with caused by waste from Jakarta throw away in river that flow to java ocean.<span id="more-68"></span></p>
<p align="justify">We use a traditional small boat to carry us go there. This is the first time I travelling with traditional small boat. I very afraid use this not safety boat because I can&#8217;t swim.  <img src='http://www.hydrogen-fc.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_cry.gif' alt=':cry:' class='wp-smiley' />  But I believe with my God and my friends on this boat that always take care me.</p>

But when we turn arround that not so good. On the behind of island the beach very dirty and there is no local people that care about this bad environment. As the young man we very sad look this condition. When this bad habitually continue I believe our earth will go to worst condition and when we late to ack I think there is no any place that could support our live on the earth.</p>
<p align="justify">Then we coordinate with local government official and people to work together clean behind beach on this island and also plant some tree on arround of office building. Okay our activity for about 1 day could not clean all of part that beach, but we want give some  example how to take care they island where they are live. Although we as not local people, we want to show that have big attention about Untung Jawa environment. We frequently thinking why they don&#8217;t care to the environment. We will documented our activity then send to other social communiy and government that we have give example how to safe our environment. After this JSN always open their hand to work together when there&#8217;s any activities that could safe our environment.</p>

<p align="justify">We put one by one plastic waste that we meet as long as we walk on the beach. We use plastic bag to collect plastic and other waste that danger or could not recycle naturally. Every group that consist of 2 person have 1 plastic bag and should be find special waste and give the meaning why they choose that waste. After that every person should be have commitment how to reduce plastic waste, some of have commitment not use plastic bag when buy something on supermarket or reduce eat mie instant. Very nive that activity because after that I have a big attention to safe our environment with the simple activity. I believe when all of people have this awareness, we could live together on the earth with peace and health.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p align="justify">At 2007 my team KAMASE (Students Energy Community &#8211; <a title="Students Energy Community" href="http://www.kamase.org" target="_blank">www.kamase.org</a>) <a href="http://www.ugm.ac.id" target="_blank">Gadjah Mada University</a>, Indonesia collaborate with <a href="http://www.curtin.edu.au" target="_blank">Curtin University</a> Team, Australia has become the Winner of <a href="http://www.mondialogo.org" target="_blank">Mondialogo Engineering Award</a> 2007. This international competition is about intercultural dialogue between young engineer from develop country and developing country to help people in developing country. Mondialogo Engineering Award is initiated by <a href="http://www.daimler.com" target="_blank">Daimler</a> and <a href="http://www.unesco.org" target="_blank">UNESCO</a>.</p>
<p align="justify">Also I have join in Mondialogo Symposium at Mumbai, India as representative of Indonesia team. On that symposium we explain our project and advantage for local people in my country. We plan to built hybrid power generation using photovoltaic and genset for local people in Panggang District, Yogyakarta Indonesia. Currently, this project has begin and hopely this project could successful and has positive benefit for local people.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p align="justify">There are many kinds of renewable energy and not all suitable enough to generate electricity. Some kind of renewable energy that nowday has big atenttion is wind power. To generate electricity from wind we need wind turbine and there are two kinds of wind turbine, which are HAWT (Horizontal Axis Wind Turbine) and VAWT (Vertical Axis Wind Turbine). HAWT has enter marketplace and many country on sub-tropical area has install this technology to produce electricity with clean and environment-safe method. That because HAWT promise the high efficiency and have big installing capacity (~ Megawatt electric).<span id="more-63"></span></p>
<p align="justify">But, nowday VAWT also could contribute to electricity generation with high efficiency and big installing capacity. T<a href="http://www.hydrogen-fc.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/03/maglev.jpg" rel="thumbnail"><img class="alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-288" style="margin: 5px;" title="maglev" src="http://www.hydrogen-fc.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/03/maglev-250x250.jpg" alt="maglev" width="250" height="250" /></a>hat because, Guangzhou Energy Research Institute under China’s Academy of Sciences has develop the magnetic levitation principle into wind turbine and they call it by <a href="http://magturbine.com/" target="_blank">Maglev Wind Turbine</a>. This new technology was firstly unveiled at the <a href="http://www.windpowerasia.com/" target="_blank">Wind Power  Asia</a> Exhibition 2006 in Beijing.</p>
<p align="justify">One maglev wind turbine could generate 1 GW electricity with clean and environment-safe methods and its enough to supply energy for about 750,000 homes and just requires less than 100 acres of building instalation/power house.</p>
<p align="center">
<p align="justify">According to the chief scientist of Guangzhou Energy Research Institute, maglev could drive cost of wind power to bellow 5 cents (U.S.) per kilowatt hour and could cut-off the operational cost of wind farms by up to 50%. Maglev also able to utilize wind speeds as low as 1.5 m/s and cut-in speeds of 3 m/s (<a href="http://www.zkenergy.com/" target="_blank">Zhongke Energy</a>) and could increase wind energy generating capacity by as much  as 20 % over traditional wind turbines (<a href="http://www.treehugger.com/files/2006/07/china_unveils_w.php" target="_blank">TreeHugger.com</a>).</p>

<p align="justify">On maglev wind turbine, vertically blade are suspended on a cushion air, above the base of the machine and this construction replace the mainly of ball bearing that used on wind turbine axis. The mechanical energy from vertical blade axis rotation is directed to linear generator with minimum friction losses. We can say that maglev system development has purpose to reduce stress from the mechanical load on the wind turbine.</p>

And <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Halbach_array" target="_blank">halbach arrays</a> could used to control the magnetic field of permanent magnet on maglev wind turbine. The permanent magnet build up by neodymium (”rare earth”) magnets and its has problem on sustainability when mined on large amounts. On China case, the need of neodymium is okay because this country has rich in this element and also control 90% of world market for rare earth elements (<a href="http://www.treehugger.com/files/2006/07/china_unveils_w.php" target="_blank">TreeHugger.com</a>).</p>
<p align="justify">The mainly advantages uses maglev wind turbine are:</p>
<ul>
<li>Less energy lost through friction.</li>
<li>Reduce the maintenance costs.</li>
<li>Increases the lifespan of the generator.</li>
</ul>
<p align="justify">There are two company that invest to develop and produce maglev wind turbine, which are:</p>
<ol>
<li><a href="http://magturbine.com/" target="_blank">Arizona MagLev Wind Turbine Technologies</a> invest for about $US 53 million to construct the colossal structure building. They claim that could deliver green-power for less than 1 cent (U.S.) per kilowatt hour.</li>
<li><a href="http://www.zkenergy.com/en/gsjj.asp" target="_blank">Zhongke Hengyuan Energy Technology</a> invest for about 400 million Yuan into building facility that set to produce maglev wind turbines with capacities ranging from 400 to 5,000 Watts. And the construction began on November 2007.</li>
</ol>
<p align="justify">Maglev technology is expected could create new opportunities in low-wind-speed areas worldwide such as on mountain regions, islands, observatories, and television transfer stations.</p>
